My husband & I spent the first night of our honeymoon here. Elizabeth was so accommodating and lovely. She gave excellent directions to the tram to get us into Dublin & gave great recommendations for dinner. The room & bathroom were spotless, the bed was comfortable, her dogs are adorable and the view is to die for.

My wife and I stayed here for two night upon arriving in Irleand. Elizabeth was very welcoming and gave us good recommendations on where to eat in the area. Room was nice and the full Irish breakfast was delicious! Great views of the countryside. Roads are narrow to get there but take your time and you'll be fine. Just a short 20 minute drive to downtown Dublin.

Merci encore .

We had a wonderful stay at Bearna Rua Lodge our last night in Ireland. Sean and Elizabeth were such accommodating hosts and gave us great suggestions for sightseeing opportunities and yummy places to eat. They accommodated our very early departure time and left food out for us with access to the refrigerator. We highly recommend this B & B!!

We visited Ireland to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Of the 8 B & B's we reserved, Bearna Rua Lodge was the first. It is close to Dublin city centre and located south of the city amidst beautiful rolling farmland. The lights of the city are visible at night. The directions to this place were perfect and easy to follow. The accommodations were fantastic with a nice comfy bed and an ensuite bathroom. The Irish breakfast was very filling and very tasty! It's a short drive to catch the tram into Dublin and Elizabeth's directions were spot on! We did manage to get lost on the way home but that became a daily occurrence and added some beautiful unplanned vistas to our journey! A very pleasant stay that you should make a priority if you are planning a trip to Ireland!
